Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all grooming services provided by Bark N’ Park Mobile Dog Grooming (“Company”) to the client (“Client”). Services include mobile grooming, add‑ons, and any ancillary treatments provided at the scheduled appointment.  

              * By booking you agree to these Terms & Conditions, including our cancellation policy that authorizes                                   

      charging the credit card on file a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service plus full forfeiture of 

             deposit if the appointment is not cancelled within the stated cancellation period. Please read carefully.  *

• Deposit: A deposit will be required to confirm bookings; deposits are applied to the final invoice and are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated. Deposits and card‑on‑file practices are standard to secure appointments and reduce no‑shows. 
• Payment: Full payment is due at the time services are rendered. The Client authorizes the Company to charge the credit card on file for all fees, including cancellation and no‑show fees.

• Cancellation Window: Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the appointment start time to avoid fees, unless a different window is agreed in writing. This window may be adjusted for special events or peak periods. 
• Late Cancellation Fee: If the Client fails to cancel within the cancellation window, the Client authorizes the Company to charge 50% of the scheduled service price plus Full Forfeiture of Deposit to the credit card on file as a cancellation fee. This fee compensates for reserved time and lost business. 
• No‑Show Fee: If the groomer arrives and the dog is not available (no‑show), the Client will be charged 100% of the scheduled service price and any deposit will be forfeited. 
• Repeated Late Cancellations: Repeated late cancellations or no‑shows may result in required prepayment in full, deposits for future bookings, and/or may result in suspension or permanent revocation of booking privileges. 

• Matting / Coat Condition: Additional charges apply for severe matting, de‑skunking, flea/tick treatments, or other extra services required to safely complete grooming. 
• Behavioral Surcharge: If a dog requires additional handling time or presents aggressive behavior, an extra fee may be charged.
• Travel / Service Area Fees: Travel fees apply for addresses outside the Company’s standard service area; such fees will be disclosed at booking.

• Vaccinations and Health: Client represents that the dog is current on vaccinations and free of contagious conditions.

 * Bark n' Park requires proof from Licensed VET and it must be submitted at or prior to scheduled grooming services. *

     ( If not provided, the appointment(s) will be CANCELLED and CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY will be applied.) 

• Pre‑Existing Conditions: The Company is not liable for complications arising from pre‑existing medical conditions disclosed or undisclosed by the Client.

• Limitation: Except where prohibited by law, the Company’s liability for any claim related to services is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service.
• Indemnity: Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising from Client’s breach of these Terms.

• Photography: With Client consent, photos may be used for marketing; Clients may opt out.
• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota and disputes will be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located therein.

By confirming or attending an appointment, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including authorization to charge the card on file for applicable fees.
